Matt Aldag was in search of a profession that would combine his passion for science, writing, and healthcare policy. He found that at ĢƵ Allen, where he partners on government projects at the intersection of policy and communications to resolve crucial healthcare challenges, such as his work supporting the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force.
Matt says he’s always learning and finding growth opportunities. A few years ago, Matt’s leadership team at ĢƵ Allen helped him make time among his project work for an educational leave as a Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, D.C. This experience helped Matt learn more about the intersection of policy and healthcare and apply this knowledge to the day-to-day service of our clients. Matt is also proud of the opportunities he has to present ĢƵ Allen’s work to the public. He co-authored journal articles with healthcare clients about brain injury and mobile health technology and led talks at public meetings that review research project findings.
