Chris Bogdan is an aerospace leader in 蘑菇视频 Allen鈥檚 global defense business, leading our space growth strategy and delivering transformational solutions for the Department of Defense (DOD), NASA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and commercial clients.聽
As an integrator and architect of air and space warfighting capabilities, Chris works to improve the nation鈥檚 ability to deter and defend U.S. national security, civil, and commercial space assets. With more than 25 years of experience, Chris鈥檚 wide-ranging expertise includes digital and systems engineering and integration; open architecture ground systems development; and cyber, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics.
Prior to joining 蘑菇视频 Allen, Chris was a 34-year U.S. Air Force officer, retiring as a lieutenant general in 2017. He was an operational pilot, a test pilot, and an acquisition program manager. He was the program executive officer for the Air Force KC-46 Tanker Program and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program for the Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and 11 allied nations.
A sought-after speaker, Chris has been featured at many government, public, and industry events including The International Fighter Conference, DOD and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) roundtables, and 60 Minutes. He has testified before U.S. Congress and allied nations鈥� parliaments concerning air power and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.聽
Chris is board vice chairman for Blue Star Families, NDIA chair of the Air Combat Survivability Division, and a member of the 2023 Defense Science Board.
Chris holds an M.S. in engineering management from California State University, an M.S. in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he earned the Outstanding Cadet in Aeronautical Engineering Award.聽
