David Gagliano is the digital lead within Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Allen’s Joint Combatant Command business. He guides a team of technology and mission-aligned subject matter experts to develop and tailor advanced digital solutions and business transformations for our defense clients.Ìý
He brings over 30 years of experience leading complex systems engineering, integration, and applied research and development. His work draws broadly from disruptive technology and solutions encompassing cloud migration and modernization, agile DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data analytics, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), virtual and augmented reality, and edge computing.Ìý
Prior to joining Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Allen, David served as chief technology officer at General Dynamics’ defense division, overseeing growth and technology strategy for large and complex bids. His work included leading business transformation and cloud modernization for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Lightning II Program.
David is a published author on diverse subjects including business strategy, historical media preservation, cloud IT, software engineering, telemedicine, enterprise architectures, wireless/mobility, IoT, cybersecurity, virtual reality, and nanotechnology. His innovative wireless telemedicine solutions appeared in Wired magazine and were featured on the cover of Telemedicine Today.Ìý
David is internationally recognized as a thought leader in cloud services, mobility, telemedicine, big data, software development, and business transformation. He served as a Northrop Grumman Technical Fellow, earning the company’s President’s Award for outstanding innovation. He is also a Beta Gamma Sigma Management Honor Society inductee and a recipient of George Mason University’s Prominent Patriot award.Ìý
David has a B.S. in computer science from Ohio University and an M.S. in technology management from George Mason University. He completed the Chief Information Officer University’s Certificate in Federal Executive Competencies, and has a certificate in executive leadership from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
