Michael Collat is a global defense leader who guides 蘑菇视频 Allen鈥檚 Joint Combatant Command (JCC) efforts across the Indo-Pacific to meet the mission needs of its partners in Hawai鈥榠, Alaska, Japan, and Korea. Michael and his team of 85 people combine mission understanding with advanced technology to deliver solutions utilizing the latest data analytics and decision support tools to assess security threats in the region and protect national security.
Michael joined 蘑菇视频 Allen in 2008 as a cyber and information technology consultant, where he developed an operational construct that fused cyber defense, offense, and intelligence functions across the combatant command staff and synchronized cyber activities with ongoing theater operations. Later, he supported the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet as a member of the Commander鈥檚 Action Group and directly supported the Pacific Air Force鈥檚 (PACAF) Strategy and Plans Directorate in developing the command鈥檚 long-range strategy and next-generation warfighting concept.聽聽
Before joining 蘑菇视频 Allen, Michael served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Among his many roles, he was commander of the PACAF Computer Systems Squadron in Hawai鈥榠, overseeing network operations and security for 10 Air Force bases across the Pacific theater.聽
In addition to supporting firm initiatives, such as the Ideas Festival and the Summer Games internship program, Michael is the regional director of the FIRST Robotics Competition for high school students, which helps develop the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.聽
Michael has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in business administration from Boston University.
