Incremental technology adoption is no longer enough to advance today鈥檚 mission. Leaders from our Digital Solutions business share their perspectives on the challenges of purposeful transformation and how today鈥檚 enterprise requires a holistic mindset to achieve operational and mission value. They offer the following advice:
- IT modernization needs to be driven by purpose. Modernization in the Federal Government should be driven by an approach to create value for users and must ensure that the mission of the agency is guiding decisions throughout the process.
- If you lead with technology, you miss the bigger picture. One of the most common pitfalls in modernization efforts is moving out on an approach that is technology focused instead of starting with the mission needs.
- Prioritize getting the people, processes, and culture in place. The successful adoption of many emerging technologies requires a certain mindset, culture, and agile environment. Without those elements in place, technology alone won鈥檛 support long-term objectives.
- Diversity in talent enables holistic change. From expertise in technology and mission, to user experience and design, organizations need diverse perspectives to create purposeful change through digital platforms.听
